100% Grenache
Grenache has been grown for decades in the hot, dry climate of Messinia.
We discovered one of these old Grenache vineyards almost by chance — an unassuming piece of land at 385 metres, at the foot of Mount Profitis Ilias. There, dry-farmed, ungrafted bush vines grow like small fruit trees. As long-time Grenache lovers, we wanted to see what this variety could express here. In 2021, this became the first Lacules Estate Grenache.
Aged in used barriques for 18 months.
